Such a great way to support the schools. Thanks to Excellence in Education for all their support for TTUSD!
I agree, but wouldn’t it be best to have ALL the TTUSD kids have the option of Winter Olympic sports (that are available) as part of their PE credit? we do live where they did hold the olympics once.
I also find it slightly confusing that althougth there has been a locals class at many resorts for over ten years that starts at 2:00 weekdays, and that more than the last 5 years the timing of school let-out and ski class have never been in tune? I’ve pulled my kid early several times, and was still late for ski class, just think this could be better planned.
Lastly, if the numbers of under-priveledged kids that don’t ski, wouldn’t getting them out on the hill, together with the other kids that do ski, give them a better chance? I do know that the ski areas would benefit, as all those non-skiers now, would someday possibly be. I say they should ALL ski, skate and play hockey… but that’s what I did as a kid….. and still do.
